Croatian born artist Leyla Murr is a prolific expressionist painter who engages colour in all her work. It is through her artistic freedom and the ability to express a fragment of feeling, a memory or an impression in an un-prescribed way that a flow of creativity is allowed to emerge. Every painting reflects that journey of introspective spontaneity during with the artist engages all her senses.

“Rather than reflecting reality, my practice seeks to construct a space of meeting and contemplation. The work functions as a form of sanctuary, inviting viewers to engage and project their own interpretations.
